Happy and Sad, both at once,
Happens sometimes, doesn't it?
And when it does, I wonder 'Why',
That tussle in the heart, won't quit.
Joy and Sorrow, closely intertwined,
Like Shadow and Light, with us they play;
So deeply rooted, I wonder 'How',
They follow us around, and forever stay.
Smiles and Tears, like Sun and Rain,
Almost together, they often appear;
But their origin, I wonder 'Where',
Close bonds make you 'Feel', that's clear.
